NBC gives a shot to Bear Grylls

The saga around Bear Grylls adventure show is finally over. The man who amused us with his incredible surviving skills, techniques of cooking turtles, eating live wоrms and deаd animals, drinking blood out of rotting animal corpses and sleeping in unimaginable natural environments, got the chance he was searching. That chance is called NBC.
As we all know, Bear Grylls glorified himself on the television screens through the cooperation with the TV house Discovery, in which he had the opportunity to present his army surviving skills in the reality show called "Man vs. Wild", covering surroundings of almost all continents.
Return of Grylls on TV screens is scheduled for next summer and the contract is signed with NBC. The new TV show will be called "Get out alive" and NBC had already sign up for eight new episodes. The content of the new show refers to a reality show with several competitors in which they'll be divided into two teams and they will be tested based on a cruel surviving methods. From what it's known for the new show that will start next year, the show will be all about working in teams to complete the given tasks in which they'll be exposed to incredibly rough conditions, something like already known "Survivor", but the expectations are far more demanding knowing Grylls attitude.
Bear's former TV show ended with a contract dispute on March 14th, after TV house Discovery announced they will not continue to cooperate with Grylls anymore.
Bear Grylls was the main character in "Man vs. Wild", a TV show that was on the air on Discovery since 2006, with seven seasons which included 68 episodes that were transmitted into 200 countries world wide.
Although he became a hero for a generation of fans who recognized in Bear's toughness, the show was followed with a great controversy about how much of the survival was real. Rumors claimed that he had a whole team of experts and surviving gurus that set the scenes for him, building shelters and making meals, and that for the time being, Bear slept in hotels.
