Few rules for attracting business attention

As entrepreneurs or small business owners, you may have already found yourself in a position where perhaps the most important activity in your job is to attract attention of potential buyers.
However, it requires more effort than you think, no matter how easy that looks.
You have a business, you have a product or service, now you need someone to listen, to see, to feel that you are here ready to solve the terrible, unbearable, troublesome and boring problem for potential buyers.
The first step is to attract attention. Although attracting attention will not guarantee success for your business, you can read more in the attention, reputation and trust, and in the end, is the first step that must be taken.
Attention aims to attract potential buyers to your business. It can be achieved with free style viral marketing campaigns or recommendation from mouth to mouth, or to pay for it through the use of various marketing tools. However, to achieve success you will need to implement some rules:

1. Plan attracting attention. Although sometimes things can't be planned to every detail, you'll have much more systematic approach if you plan various ways and opportunities to attract attention.

2. Use different channels to attract attention. Various businesses operate different channels. It is good to try and test different channels to attract attention.
3. Give attention to receive attention. Rule of reciprocity. The more you give - the more you get.
4. Take risk and inform even for the secrets. Competition will read me, copy me, they'll take  over my ... All these statements are possible, however, you have to take the risk, because you can not prospect without buyers real attention.
5. Be unique, do not copy. You can study and analyze competitors, but do not copy them. You want to be unique. Uniqueness is best sponsor to attract quality attention.
6. Be realistic. No matter what you think, it's important what your current buyers think. They will attract more attention when describing your product or service, rather than when you present.
7. Stop talking and start listening. Listening will tell you what the other side wants to achieve and if you know it and really shoot them in their true "love", you'll grab their attention.

Greek syndrome is eating the Balkan - Greece's collapse will cause a drain of capital from the region?

Greek financial collapse could lead to a severe economic downturn in the region of the Balkans, as well as among other countries which are not in the euro area, but had years of business ties with Greece, warn economic analysts.
No one can predict how events will develop after the parliamentary elections on 17 July in Greece. Fears are not unfounded: Greek banks hold in their hands 15% of the charter capital of credit organizations of neighboring countries. Thus, the primary investments are invested in the economies of Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Albania and Serbia.
Analysts warn of the possibility of a Greek bankruptcy and say that the switch from Euro into Drachma will have negative affect for the business in the region. European Bank for Reconstruction and Development makes a defensive ferrule around Greece, and according to the bank's claims, this could prevent a massive capital drain from the Balkans. Namely, the European Bank reached an agreement with three Austrian banks, large financial investors in the region, for the unfavorable liquidity in Eastern Europe.
Problems arise in the other Western Balkan countries that do not have the Euro, but are financially related with Greece. By itself this means it is possible a deeper crisis in the Balkan countries.
Analysts recall that something similar happened in 2008, when due to the complicated financial situation, the Scandinavian countries withdrew significant funds from banks in the Baltic States, and came to the economic downturn in the region. Because Balkan countries are more unstable in economic terms from the Baltic, the consequences can be very serious.
Analysts believe that the fast transition from Euro to Drachma is not possible. The process will take at least a few years. During that time other foreign banks, among others and Russian, can buy subsidiaries in these countries, and that way replacing the Greek capital.
Experts warn that the outflow of funds to Greece from its Balkan subsidiaries will cause panic among investors and they'll begin to invest in more reliable sources, such as Germany and Switzerland ..

Tattooing - who, what and how?

A tattoo is expensive, painful and permanent. Removing tattoos is more expensive, more painful, and sometimes impossible. For these reasons, inform yourself pretty good about tattooing, and before you decide to visit a tattoo studio, consider the following.

1. CONSIDER GOOD WHICH PART OF THE BODY TO TATTOO
If you don't want your tattoo to have an impact on your life and career (because there are still many people with prejudices, fact) don't tattoo body parts that can not be camouflaged with clothes, such as the hands, neck or face. The part of the body you choose should fit the image that you want on your skin, but should be suitable for covering with clothing (when this you need it).

2. DECISION WHAT TO TATTOO
Tattoos with Chinese, Japanese and Arabic characters are popular, but if you do not understand their meaning, you should not tattoo them, because you are not aware that one letter can have different meanings depending on the context.

3. BE WELL INFORMED WHERE TO PERFORM THE TATTOO
If you don't want to fall into the hands of an amateur who will exercise on you, an artist who is not so talented or with someone whose hygiene is not exactly a strong side with whom you can "attach" an infection, it is best to know someone who has already made his tattoo there.

4. COLLABORATE WITH THE TATTOO ARTIST
Most of the tattoo artists insist on conversation with the customer prior to tattooing. Do not tighten and just ask anything you would like, but be prepared to accept his suggestions about the colors, shadows, or the size of the tattoo. The more you work with the artist, so your tattoo will be prettier.

5. HYGIENE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT
Before the artist starts tattooing, you should insist to show you the sterilized equipment. This is the only way to make sure that you will not get a disease with the tattoo.

6. IT'S GOING TO HURT
If someone told you that tattooing does not hurt - he lied. Okay, the intensity of the pain depends on the size, of the place and the complexity of the tattoo. Those tattoos that are made over the bones and tendons (neck, back and leg ankle), sections with relatively little "meat" (legs, arms, wrists) and places with lots of nerve endings (warts, fingers, face) most hurt.

7. DO NOT TOUCH WHILE IT IS FRESH
The tattoo is a wound like any other. First off, let it dry, and then cover it to protect. No matter how hurts and itch and do not put anything on it, except fat, which for this purpose you have received from your tattoo artist. And most important - do not hands off. You will have it for a lifetime, so be careful not to ruin it.

MEDICAL ASPECTS

Tattooing is a way to decorate the body, but this way of decorating carries many risks. Tattoo means cutting the skin and injection of color in the mesoderm of the skin to make the desired picture.
Infectious diseases, skin problems, allergies, hepatitis, these are just some of the problems that you can have if you have a tattoo.
To reduce the risk of transmission of pathogenic bacteria, the artist who is tattooing must always use sterilized equipment, surgical gloves and masks, new needles, and unused bottles with paint for each new tattoo - none of these things should not be used again and to be shared  on several users.

People with more body tattoos have a higher risk of infection with hepatitis C, and other blood borne pathogens.

Other risks are Hepatitis C, fungal and bacterial infections. Risk also represent the chemicals in the tattoo ink, especially the use of tattoo ink that is not intended. Pigments in the ink used for printing and painting cars. Some of these substances can seriously harm the body, especially the kidneys, lungs and lymph nodes. Allergic reactions may occur several years after the placement of the tattoo.

So, before starting a tattoo, think twice if you really want a tattoo, and especially consider where you will put on your body. If you have decided to have a tattoo, then be careful when tattooing - a man who tattooed you must wear new surgical gloves, mask, and insist needles that will be used to be extracted in front of you, and to properly sterilize all equipment, and the skin where  the tattoo will be drawn to be erased with medical alcohol.

Cro Cop: All of you who want to fight for the money, forget it!

Mirko Filipovic has decided to send a message to everyone who appears before him in recent years and who have a great desire to engage in martial arts.

Apparently many are counting on entry into the world of combat sports for the money, but Cro Cop warns that this is the wrong way of thinking and thus are unlikely to get very far, especially not to a superior level.

"I received a lot of messages with questions related to training, and considering that I can not respond specifically to everyone, I will write it like this, so that all who are interested can easily see. The last one who wrote to me was a 17 years old boy asking whether he is to old to begin training, cause 'many' told him he is too old. Nonsense, those are the ideal years to start with serious training and please don't listen to people who have no idea about anything and feel dubbed to share lessons more or less about everything, and the only contact with martial arts for them were few seen shows of Fight Club on Eurosport."

"It's never too late to start practicing sports in general, and that refers to martial arts as well. Of course, to a man dealing with professional sports (from now on I'm just talking about martial arts), he should begin no later than about 18-19 years, and a lot depends on the genetic structure of the body, the talent and persistence, and each man is a special in this view. The biggest problem is the motive with which people enter the sport. Those who want to do martial arts to 'take the money', will never see the money."

"One guy wrote that he wants to involve in MMA, that he is 23 and wonders on how much profit he can count (I guess he wants to plan when to purchase). He will never see a nickle. Combat sports must be love, not a job, it should be strive for progress to be better than sparring partners, gradually to be the best in the club, to expand the horizons of local events. Opportunity for something more will come on itself if you possess the quality, but until then it MUST be a game and love, because who thinks about money, will never see it."

"That's how it is, it's the law of the sport. Everybody who did something, began so they can develop physically and mentally, to strengthen and to acquire the discipline, so they eventually proved to be an extraordinary talent, and then the opportunity for fights and earnings came by itself, and nobody of us planned that when we started with training. Some guys who have written  to me about this, read this pretty well and remember this, because I am completely right when I write you this." - said Mirko to all young fighters and those who would like to become.

In Josip Broz Tito's luxury bunker

33 years ago, inside the mountain Zlatar near Konjica in BiH, was built nuclear shelter that was the main command place of the former JNA (Jugoslavian National Army), and for that building knew only four official commanders, and workers who had to sign a contract for silence.
The construction of Tito's bunker lasted from 1953 to 1979 and cost $4.6 billion. Since the beginning of the construction of the bunker it was hidden by nature and three houses and therefore nothing could be seen that just under them is the most important object in the SFRY (Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavija) and her leader - Josip Broz Tito.

The bunker is composed of three parts. First masked part is visible from the outside, followed by supervisory residence, facility for rigorous insurance of the former president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito, and the facility for accommodation of technical support.

When passing through the hallway of the first house, a metal door opens with a thickness of 1.20 meters, and behind that door it can be found the tunnel that leads to the heart of nuclear hideout at a depth of 280 meters.

Tunnels are the link between the masked part and the nuclear hideout that can withstand a nuclear attack of 20 kilotons.

The last part of the object is in the form of a horseshoe and has 12 blocks. Inside are housed protection systems, fire prevention system, protection system against nuclear attack and climate.

The bunker has an alternative exit that does not exist on the map, and leads 170 meters high hill above the object.

More than a hundred sleeping rooms are located on an area of 6.854 square meters in which, in the case of nuclear attack, could sleep 350 people from the highest political and state peaks in Yugoslavia.

They could stay in the hideout for 6 months without any contact with the outside world. Despite the numerous rooms, significant place exist for Tito's luxury residence with five chambers.

The building is now owned by the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is guarded by five soldiers and it hosts cultural events.

NY Times Man of the Year 1938!

The prestige newspaper from the United States, New York Times, has it's practice to give a noble title to one man or women that marked the following year. The newspaper gives the award "Man of the Year", every year since 1927.

The criteria for someone to get this title is determined by how much anybody contributed to what was important for the year he was chosen for, not making an objective research which will include the past of that person.
On this list you can find names as glorified as Charles Lindbergh (1925), Mohandas Ghandi (1930), Dwight Eisenhower (1940), Martin Luther King Jr. (1963), The Computer (a machine - 1982), Mark Zuckerberg (2010) and many others.
But one name between all on this list attracts huge attention. It's the name of ADOLF HITLER, who was given this title in 1938.
Just to remind us, the title was given to the man who was directly responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and 50 million others during the World War II, which he started it.
Irony knows no limits ..

Macedonians invented the first submarine?!

It is a little known fact that the ancient Macedonians were pioneers in protected underwater diving, i.e. they were the first people (for which there are records) that made some kind of a submarine. The first protected underwater diving attempts were performed using a large glass bell which used a rope to be lowered to the seabed. Inside the bell was the diver, who enjoyed the sight under water through the walls of the bell. The bell had a continuous flow of air. Certainly in this way the submarine could not reach great depths, but at the time of antiquities, it is still considered as an interesting discovery.
More researchers on the history of protected underwater diving mention Macedonians as pioneers of such diving. Thus, for example, the famous oceanographer and underwater diving expert Dr. Stephen Wood in his paper "Milestones in the history of the exploration of the oceans" clearly stated that the Macedonians were the ones who first began with a protected underwater diving. He mentions an Indian medieval illustration showing scuba diving with great glass bell, that Indians have inherited from the Macedonians. In this connection, Dr. Wood writes:
"One of the earliest reports on the use of devices which enabled the diver to enter under water with a certain degree of protection and supply of air entering in the diving bell, is one that Kolimfa has used around 330 BC according to the previous diving under water of Alexander the Great. This bell is painted by an Indian miniature painter in 1575. Testimony of such a bell appears in the 13th century in a French manuscript titled 'The True History of Alexander'."
Some insufficiently informed researchers believe that the protected underwater diving by the Macedonians is only a romantic legend, created in the Middle Ages. Namely, it is known that during the Middle Ages, were created a number of stories and legends about Alexander. Likely that these stories and legends were based on the content of older records or oral legends of antiquities, which over time, in the Middle Ages were redesigned and amended with various fantastic tales associated with his life, especially his trips. Thus, romantic legends and stories were created with fantastic motifs (Alexander encounters with various monsters, finding a water source with vitalising effect, trips to nonexistent and strange countries, etc.).. In this context, some believe that the protected underwater diving practiced by the Macedonians is only a fabrication of medieval authors.
However, such claims are arguably denied by scientist Dr. Wood, who offers ancient (not just medieval) testimonies of protected underwater diving by the Macedonians. In fact, he writes that even Aristotle mentions this diving. In connection with all this, in addition to his paper, Dr. Wood writes:
"In his work 'Probleranta', Aristotle describes the system for underwater diving of his time, and says: 'They invent device through which divers could breathe. It was a dish that descended down and of course it was not filled with water, but with air, which constantly supplied dived people."
Aristotle was born in the city of Stagira in Macedonia and he (at least by his father) is considered to be Macedonian. He was the main teacher of Alexander the Great. Thus, the testimony of Aristotle's protected underwater diving (given in the 4th century BC) refutes the opinions that it was a romantic fabrication of medieval authors.
Today almost all stakeholders in the area and beyond accept that the Macedonians were pioneers in protected underwater diving. Thus, for example, in the contemporary known general computer Encarta Encyclopedia (quote work title: Diving, underwater), as official stance is mentioned the fact that it was the Macedonians who were the first pioneers in the field of protected underwater diving. In this connection, we can read:
"Underwater diving is entering and staying under the surface because of work or study. Diving without mechanical assistance was practiced even in antiquities for collecting pearls and sponges. Different ways to supply the diver with air in order to allow him a longer stay under water were tested as early as the 4th century BC. It is believed that Alexander the Great carried out underwater diving machine that was probably a primitive form of diving bell, and Aristotle mentions the diver techniques that allowed him to breathe underwater."
Protected underwater diving by Macedonians is illustrated in a 15th century illustration. In particular it is an illustration from a French manuscript published in Rouen in 1445. The manuscript is known under the title "Old French prose - romance of Alexander." It is illustrated with a miniature featuring Alexander diving under water in a glass container, tied with ropes to a ship in which there are two persons siting. It is interesting in the illustration Alexander and his friends are dressed in what was then a French outfit. In fact, this practice (characters from older history to represent improper clothing, i.e. clothing from the time of the creation of the image) is well known in the history of art.
To conclusion is that there is a strong evidence that the Macedonians were those who remain recorded in history as pioneers in protected underwater diving and this is accepted as the official attitude of the authorities concerned in the area.

1912 - First Balkan War

First Balkan War erupted in October 1912, in which Serbia, Montenegro and Bulgaria fought against the Ottoman Empire, in a coalition called "The Balkan League". The war ended with an armistice on December 3rd the same year. At the Peace Conference in London, May 30th 1913, Turkey had to give up all possessions in Europe, apart from Edirne, which the allies managed to take but failed to hold under their authority. Macedonian people took an active part in the war, fighting with expectation for freedom and independence. But instead, the Allies divided Macedonia, which, in turn, due to "inadequate separation" was the reason for the beginning of the Second Balkan War.
At the same time, Italy sends it's own troops in Libya and several islands in the Ege Sea. There are numerous uprisings in Arabia against the Turkish authority, so the large and well equipped Turkish army suffers defeat and loses in almost all fronts. The city of Thessaloniki, with more than 100.000 soldiers, most modern canons and navy with 6 submarines, surrenders to the Greek army without a fight. That same Greek army didn't managed to conquer the fortress of Janina, while the fortress of Edirne is conquered by the Bulgarian army in which for the first time were used airplanes for bombarding. Bulgarian army approached 20 km outside of Istanbul and Macedonian soldiers showed dedicated fight in stopping the counter attacks of the Ottoman army lead by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Ottoman Turks were chased away from the Balkan, but with the Peace Conference East Trakia and Edirne remained under their authority, while Macedonia was divided between Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece, which meant that the Macedonians fought in the war only to be conquered again by her neighbors.

Cro-Cop on Blake's dirty move

The main fight of the K-1 event in Tokyo had a very disputable situation - Blake hitting Mirko Cro-Cop in a situation when the Croatian fighter reached his hand as a sign of apology.
Red corner jumped a minute before the end of the third round when the American fighter Randy Blake gave Mirko a "cheap" hit after he offered an apology for the punch he was going to make, but in the end he didn't.
However, although the Croatian fans reacted extremely sharp, like most around the world, "bad blood" between Mirko and Blake doesn't exist. They met in the hallway right after the fight and they even photographed together.
"I turned away from him and I wanted to give him a friendly hand, and he hit me. He made a good clean hit in the chin. I was not shaken or knocked down, more surprised. It was certainly a bit unsportsmanlike and dirty, but I'm an experienced fighter and I have to protect myself at every minute during a fight, so I have no hard feelings. This is such a sport, and I have to be careful in these situations" - said Mirko after the fight.
Mirko started the fight little more restrained at the beginning , but that obviously was the plan, and Cro Cop is very pleased with what he did:
"I felt great in the match. There had been no muscle cramps or something similar. Now I feel good. Superbly. If the tournament went on, I could immediately go into the next match. I'm delighted about that."
Blake complained a bit to the situation during the second round when the referee counted him because he was knocked down, but he claimed that he had received a blow to the genitals. "It was a clean hit above the belt. I'm sure of that and the judge counted him fairly." added Mirko on the subject.
Although Blake's incorrect move didn't leave that impression, the American still greatly appreciates Croatian fighter:
"It was a privilege to fight you. Thank you for this opportunity. You're a legend of the sport and you deserved to win." Blake referred to Mirko during a meeting after the match.
It's still unknown who will be Mirko's next opponent, because now that is determined by drawing lot, and Mirko watched performances of other fighters as much as he could:
"There were some excellent fights. Morosanu and Slowinski made a terrific match. They were just torn up. It's all a lottery. Gerges couldn't walk after the fight, and he is a top fighter. There are eight hazardous boys left and whoever the draw grants me, it will not be easy."said Cro Cop after the match in Tokyo.
Otherwise, Mirko earned lower left leg injury during the match with Blake. He earned a cut and the first estimation was that it had to be sewed, but the situation still turned out to be a little bit better than it seemed at first sight. The cut is long about eight inches and doctors thought  to sent Mirko immediately to sewing, but after they cleaned the injury and gave a better view, they decided it's better to heal on itself.

After four years of absence, Cro Cop enjoys divine status in Japan

Croats and Japanese have so little in common. Maybe it's even better to say nothing except that Mirko Filipovic is a hero to both nations. In Croatia he is one of the icons of sports scene, and in Japan is practically a deity. Although he didn't fought for four years in the Land of the Rising Sun, most Japanese will bow down to the floor even if you only mention his left hand, and in their eyes you will see the passion that has not disappeared despite the huge crisis that hit the combat sport in this country.
If you are a Croat, the first thing you'll face at the same minute you enter Japan is - Aaaa Mirko Cro Cop!, with gesticulations matching those of Mirko, which shows the love and respect they cherish for him. The legend lives on ..
Lets get back to the beginning of the story. Croats and Japanese really have nothing in common. They are quiet, humble, hard-working, their society is governed as the finest pharmacies. Always thinking of others first, and then about themselves. And Croats are ... Maybe it's better not to go into details and explain, but the differences are obvious. Cro Cop still manages to connect both extremes and to connect these two nations. The Japanese have recognized in him a samurai spirit, maximum commitment to the sport and martial indisputable quality. Even now, when he is no longer in his prime and best results are behind him, Filipovic has remained a great professional. On an extremely important match against Randy Blake, who follows him on Sunday, Cro Cop arrived in the Japanese metropolis with his team almost a week earlier in order to acclimate maximally and that nothing would be left to chance.
At the age of 38 attention should be payed to every detail, knowing that even the smallest details are important, and Randy Blake is a serious task that must be completed successfully, and then prepare for an assault on the K-1 title that escaped from him in 1999th.
Now his motivation is bigger, the desire even stronger. The bad episodes in the UFC awakened additional defiance, his team says he is maximum ready, completely healthy and "alight" to the limit. Frankly speaking, the opportunity that it's offered to him is unique and hardly will be repeated ever again.
Laschenko, Gerges, Catinas, Londt - names that certainly should not be underestimated, but with his quality and experience, Cro Cop still stands out as one of the favorites. Matches against Sefo and Lorena were a good guide, although all of the team and Filipovic himself are aware that room for improvement still exist.
American karate fighter on the other side of the ring will be a great indicator of whether the progress is achieved. Is Mirko completely "transformed" on kick boxing and big gloves.
After a few days of quality training in Tokyo, Cro Cop reserved Friday for rest and relaxation. In the afternoon hours he only did easier stretching which is understandably ahead of tomorrow's pretty busy day. On Saturday, the organizers, in fact, planned to double the program - the official weigh-in and press conference at which the public will be presented to all couples. What the most important thing is, according to Cro Cop coach - Mirko acclimated and adapted to weather and climate change.
Unfortunately, the organizers did not succeed in the promotion of the K-1 Final 16 tournament. Although Cro Cop remains a "heart attack" on the streets of Tokyo, very few know that Filipovic will compete on Sunday in the Japanese capital. With all the effort you could not find a single poster, video on TV or a billboard announcing the K-1 tournament. When you have a super star who filled Saitama Super Arena to the last seat and breaks all box office records in Japan in martial arts, then you must use that. People who now lead the K-1 clearly have their own, another vision of how to re-popularize the sport and return it to the path of the old glory. But it's still another story that should be left for another time ..

Tour de France - TOUR DE DOPING

ASTOUNDING FACT!
In the last 15 years, astonishing 12 times the title was deprived from the winner of the Tour de France. Even one-third of all competitors in the Tour de France from 1998 to 2012 took "candies" and only in the last edition is (still) not detected any rider among the top 10 that used banned substances. The greatest disappointment in this statistics is the name of the legend - Lance Armstrong, who admitted the charges of the US doping agency one month ago.

Tattooed cross on forehead protected women from abduction

"Tattooed cross protects women. Christian women from Macedonia, marked with a cross between the eyes."

"The Turks are disgusted by the cross."

Due to the self-sacrifice of the Savior Jesus Christ, who with this act redeemed the world from sin, in Christian doctrine, among other things, the cross becomes a symbol of salvation. In Macedonia, which is mentioned several times in the Bible, the role of the cross during the five-century Ottoman period is more than just symbolic.
U.S. newspaper "The St. Louis Republic", in an article from the April 5, 1903, writes about the cross as the savior of Macedonian women:
"Tattooed cross protects women. Christian women from Macedonia, marked with a cross between the eyes." According to the same article, a cross was tattooed to "all girls who showed signs of sexual maturity or extraordinary beauty, to prevent their abductions by the Turks."
Reasons why this practice was carried out are described in the article entitled "Macedonian refugees", in the illustrated accessory to the American Journal "New York Tribune" from April 5, 1903:
"It was typically in one province young Christian girls to be stolen for the harems of Turkish governors and other officials. Once the girls grew into women, a small cross was tattooed between their eyes. The cross saved these girls from the harems. Many women had their girls taken in front of their eyes by the soldiers, and if men resisted they were shot on the spot."
So, ironically, the beauty of Macedonian girl, instead of advantage and reason for pride of her parents, as in the normal world, turned into a huge flaw.
Cases of female abductions by Turkish soldiers are also mentioned in the French newspaper "La Vie Populaire", in the article of February 24, 1903, titled "The crimes in Macedonia":
"No women are protected from violence and in a number of villages have been reported cases of abductions."
In the illustrated accessory to the "New York Tribune" newspaper from April 26, 1903, this practice of tattooing young Macedonians in order to save themselves from abductions, is mentioned again:
"Rural women with indelible cross between the eyes. When they were little they showed signs of beauty and their parents mark them (with cross) to prevent Turks to grab them for the harems."
The same journal writes a brief, but clear enough sentence on how the cross saved Macedonian women from abduction:
"The Turks are disgusted by the cross."
But except that Macedonian women were seeking protection and relief from the cross, they also protected the Christianity by themselves and refused to become Muslims. Perhaps the best known example is the history of the Holy Great Martyr Zlata Meglenska, that despite the cruelest torture and threat of death refused to abandon Christianity and become a Muslim.
Abduction of young Macedonian women and their resistance against becoming Muslims, was transformed into national songs by the Macedonian people.

NBC gives a shot to Bear Grylls

The saga around Bear Grylls adventure show is finally over. The man who amused us with his incredible surviving skills, techniques of cooking turtles, eating live wоrms and deаd animals, drinking blood out of rotting animal corpses and sleeping in unimaginable natural environments, got the chance he was searching. That chance is called NBC.
As we all know, Bear Grylls glorified himself on the television screens through the cooperation with the TV house Discovery, in which he had the opportunity to present his army surviving skills in the reality show called "Man vs. Wild", covering surroundings of almost all continents.
Return of Grylls on TV screens is scheduled for next summer and the contract is signed with NBC. The new TV show will be called "Get out alive" and NBC had already sign up for eight new episodes. The content of the new show refers to a reality show with several competitors in which they'll be divided into two teams and they will be tested based on a cruel surviving methods. From what it's known for the new show that will start next year, the show will be all about working in teams to complete the given tasks in which they'll be exposed to incredibly rough conditions, something like already known "Survivor", but the expectations are far more demanding knowing Grylls attitude.
Bear's former TV show ended with a contract dispute on March 14th, after TV house Discovery announced they will not continue to cooperate with Grylls anymore.
Bear Grylls was the main character in "Man vs. Wild", a TV show that was on the air on Discovery since 2006, with seven seasons which included 68 episodes that were transmitted into 200 countries world wide.
Although he became a hero for a generation of fans who recognized in Bear's toughness, the show was followed with a great controversy about how much of the survival was real. Rumors claimed that he had a whole team of experts and surviving gurus that set the scenes for him, building shelters and making meals, and that for the time being, Bear slept in hotels.

Messi and C.Ronaldo are payed poorly?

Despite the fact that football is "the world's most important side issue", that is slowly but surely becoming more business than sport, players are far behind their colleagues in other sports in terms of salaries. Just don't show this article to Cristiano Ronaldo.
After Cristiano Ronaldo said last month that he was sad, Spanish media have speculated that the reason for his sadness is small salary. He is one of the best players on the planet, but even nine other players have higher salary than him.
In what kind of a depression will he fall if he finds out that his salary is equal to that of the 52nd best paid baseball player of the MLB league?
Cristiano Ronaldo's salary in Real Madrid is about $13 million per year, and it's a minimal compared with other sports. He receives as much as the wage of Andrew Bogut of the Golden State, the 36th best paid basketball player in the NBA, than Matt Ryan, the 13th best paid rugby player from Atlanta Falcons and Travis Hafner, 52nd on the list of best paid baseball players  in the MLB league.
Lionel Messi with $13.6 million is at the same level with Tyson Chandler from New York Knicks, which is 29th best paid in the NBA, the same as the 10th best paid in the NFL and 49th in MLB.
The only football player that to some extent can be worn with the salaries of the players from other sports is the best paid footballer on the planet, Samuel Eto'o. His salary in Anzhi is about $26 million per year, which is much more than the best paid NFL player (Dwight Freeney $19 million).
However, Eto'o earns less than the best paid basketball player Kobe Bryant ($27.8 million) and best paid baseball player Alex Rodriguez ($30 million).

Austrians against further EU enlargement

After the entrance of Croatia in mid-2012, the Austrians do not want additional accession of new countries to the European Union, according to the public opinion survey which was carried out on Monday.
Austrians oppose most on the entrance of Albania, 68% of them are against, and only 15 percent agreed while the rest did not give an opinion, on Kosovo 66 percent against and 16 percent agree, Turkey 65 percent against and 17 percent agree, Serbia 61 percent against and 19 percent agree. These are the results of a survey conducted by the Society for social Research, Austrian Society for European Policy.
Almost uniformly negative attitude have towards BIH's entry into the EU, or 58 percent against and 22 percent agree, 55 percent against and 20 percent agree for Macedonia, for Montenegro 55 percent against and 21 percent agree.
The interviewees are most prone to the entry of Iceland, i.e. 33 percent agree, and 37 percent against.
The survey was conducted by telephone and included 500 Austrians.

Morning rituals of champions - urine instead of coffee

Trainers and doctors say that diet is one of the most important factors for good shape, but some athletes don't agree with this. This are the strangest ways of nutrition among athletes.
Michael Phelps champion nutrition consists of 12,000 calories per day, or six times more than any normal person. Among other things, it includes eating 8 eggs and three chocolate pancakes for breakfast, he eats pasta and two large sandwiches with ham, cheese and mayonnaise for lunch and eating one pound of pasta and pizza for dinner.
During the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, swimmer Ryan Lochte fed exclusively at McDonalds. He had his breakfast, lunch and dinner there, bringing in between 8,000 to 10,000 calories a day. But this unhealthy diet didn't prevent Lochte to win four gold medals at this Olympics.
Legendary baseball player of NY Jankees, Babe Ruth, was known for his routine which consisted of three hot-dogs before match, and he used to wake up every morning with one  glass of whiskey.
NFL rugby player, Chad Ochocinko also loves McDonald's. Similar as Lohti, he often eats three main meals consisted of burgers. "Do not be convinced that McDonald's food is harmful. Eat what you want, but train properly, and you'll have no problem" claims Ochocinko.
Lamar Odom of the LA Clippers is never enough of candy. He eats 4-5 packets of chocolates every day, and often wakes up at night and can not fall asleep until he doesn't eat a few candies.
Candie addict is also NFL rugby player Marsawn Lynch who even consumes them during a match.
Brazilian UFC champion Lyoto Machida every morning drinks his own urine. This is routine he learned from his father who comes from Japan and is a former karate champion. They claim drinking urine is like a vaccine and has a healing effect.

USA will bankrupt before Europe?

In the past three years, Americans have managed to convince us that the crisis is over, but not in Europe.
While Europe, with many troubles established the first elements of proficiency corresponding  with the globalized world and began to control its public debt, they do not want to admit that the weakness of American democracy enable to increase the level of spending and public revenues suddenly to fall at unprecedented level.
Situation that the next president will face, who ever that would be, will be daunting.
At first glance, all is well on the opposite side of the Atlantic Ocean: Silicon Valley continues to be the leading place in world creativity. New York is still the most fascinating city in the world. American film continues to inspire the world. US armed forces are still allocated worldwide and democracy and security depends on them. US independence is secured by new sources of energy. Wrapped in her own optimism, America believes that will only be enough for some time to borrow, expecting growth to come back and swallow the debt.
But debt is growing much faster than ever before in the history of the United States (more than a billion dollars each year), almost faster than any country in Europe, and in two years will exceed 80 percent of GDP, which is more than double the level in 2008.
To finance the debt, this year federal budget borrows $4 billion, and debt servicing exceeds the defense budget, social security and health care system.
It will work as long as the creditors agree. They are of two types: Federal Reserve (U.S. central bank) which continuously print money (to borrow the state and commercial banks), and the new forces that have become richer with increasing of energy prices and this way invest their redundancy - in order this country to look strong and secure, in order not to exist alternative investments and in order US to be used as a mercenary.
Bank of federal reserves now owns one-sixth of the public debt, which is the highest level in US history. National funds will begin to diversify their investments. Financing of the US debt will be harder.
Logically, this will soon cause a decrease of the value of the dollar, increasing interest, which in the end would be disastrous - rise in interest rate for only one percent will increase the debt servicing of $100 billion.
At that point, US will declare bankruptcy. Can no longer help the unemployed of total 17 percent, would not be able to feed the 50 million people who would not survive without public kitchens, will not be able to repair old bridges and roads. Will not be able to rebuild its education system, which is disastrous (except most prestigious universities, where currently foreign students are becoming majority) and may not be able to maintain its military force.
If there isn't any technological breakthrough, or war economy, the decline of American society will seek pittance. But no one in Europe will benefit from it ..
